We check the computer's condition, compatibility and whether the proposed upgrade is worthwhile. Parts and labour are quoted before ordering or paid work begins.
Upgrade and test
Approved parts are installed and the computer is configured and tested. Any remaining limitation is explained at handover.

Parts and special-order items are quoted separately and paid for before ordering. Customer-supplied parts may be accepted selectively, but compatibility and supplier warranty remain the customer's responsibility. The final cost depends on access, compatibility, data migration and configuration work.
Limitations
Not every computer is worth upgrading, and soldered or proprietary components may not be upgradeable. An upgrade cannot correct every hardware fault, and data transfer or recovery from failing storage may require separate work.
High-end gaming builds, custom water cooling and unrestricted component-building services are outside the normal offer. Replacement will be recommended where it is the more sensible option.
