Data recovery from an unstable or unreadable source is separate, and the final scope and cost are agreed before paid work begins.
Limitations
There is no guarantee that every application, licence or setting can be moved, and you'll need to provide valid passwords, recovery access and licence details where required. Inaccessible accounts remain subject to the provider's own recovery rules.
Damaged or failing source storage may require Data Recovery first, and unsupported or obsolete software may not work on the new computer. Complex domain, server, line-of-business or multi-user business migrations are outside the standard service, and physical phone and tablet repair is not included.
FAQs
What files can normally be transferred to a new computer?
Documents, photographs, personal files and similar everyday data from a readable source computer are normally straightforward to move.

Yes, valid passwords, recovery access and licence details are needed for the relevant accounts and software, since these can't be bypassed.
What happens if the old computer no longer starts?
Data recovery from the old computer is treated as separate work, using the Data Recovery service, before setup on the new computer can continue.
Does the starting price include software licences or subscriptions?
No, these are additional. The starting price covers the setup and transfer work itself.
Can you set up email, printers and other peripherals?
Yes, where valid credentials are available for email and accounts, and selected peripherals can be connected as part of the setup.
Do you handle complex business or multi-user migrations?
No. Complex domain, server, line-of-business or multi-user business migrations are outside the standard service.
